Contracting (and paying for) an editor can be daunting to consider and I know many authors are on strict budgets. Yes, I am good at what I do, and my time is precious, but I adore editing and I also absolutely believe every author deserves a chance to have their manuscript professionally edited. I have worked out options with several authors who thought they couldn’t afford it and we made it happen without breaking their banks.
